Ensuite une introduction au sujet du livre \u00ab\u00a0l&rsquo;amour entre le sucr\u00e9 et les \u00e9pices\u00a0\u00bb, vu que le livre est cibl\u00e9 sur les recettes sucr\u00e9es et \u00e9pic\u00e9es. Le livre est divis\u00e9 en 8 chapitres: cardamome, \u00ab\u00a0doux et chaleureux\u00a0\u00bb, anis\u00e9, vanille, floral, les graines,  \u00ab\u00a0aigre et citronn\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, et enfin piment\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans chaque chapitre, on a une double page sur une association: sucre et \u00e9pices, riz et \u00e9pices, etc. . On va retrouver des associations avec l&rsquo;alcool, le chocolat, la cr\u00e8me, les noix, les boissons et finalement les fruits. Puis le d\u00e9roul\u00e9 de la recette, et un petit encart avec une suggestion de changement d&rsquo;\u00e9pices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La liste des ingr\u00e9dients est class\u00e9e par \u00e9tape. A part des \u00e9pices parfois difficiles \u00e0 trouver, les ingr\u00e9dients sont relativement courants. Les quantit\u00e9s sont indiqu\u00e9es en grammes et en oz (once anglo-saxonnes). Toutefois, les plus petites quantit\u00e9s solides comme les \u00e9pices par exemple, sont indiqu\u00e9es en teaspoon, en cuill\u00e8res. Il est toujours bon d&rsquo;investir dans un jeu de cuill\u00e8res \u00e0 mesurer. Cela ne co\u00fbte pas cher et c&rsquo;est super pratique. D&rsquo;autant plus que les liquides sont tous en ml ou en cups, et que l\u00e0, soyons francs, c&rsquo;est plus facile de mesurer 1 cup de cr\u00e8me liquide que 250ml. Enfin, \u00e7a, c&rsquo;est mon avis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les instructions sont claires et assez d\u00e9taill\u00e9es. Les temp\u00e9ratures de four sont en degr\u00e9s Celsius et Fahrenheit, ce qui est plut\u00f4t pratique. Les photos repr\u00e9sentent bien le r\u00e9sultat final des recettes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MON AVIS:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LES PLUS:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Les recettes font vraiment envie. J&rsquo;en ai not\u00e9 vraiment beaucoup \u00e0 tester. J&rsquo;adore les \u00ab\u00a0spice switch\u00a0\u00bb (variations d&rsquo;\u00e9pices) qui permettent \u00e0 partir de la recette de base de d\u00e9couvrir une toute nouvelle version de celle-ci.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les doubles pages \u00a0\u00bb X \u2665 spices\u00a0\u00bb sont des mines d&rsquo;informations, tant sur les associations possibles qu&rsquo;en donnant des mini recettes. On a donc une grosse cinquantaine de recettes en plus dans l&rsquo;ouvrage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les roues de d\u00e9composition des saveurs de \u00e9pices sont tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressantes. Elles font \u00e9cho \u00e0 la tendance des livres \u00ab\u00a0explicatifs\u00a0\u00bb comme les \u00ab\u00a0r\u00e9pertoires des saveurs\u00a0\u00bb de Nikki Segnit ou \u00ab\u00a0l&rsquo;\u00e9quation des saveurs\u00a0\u00bb de Nik Sharma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J&rsquo;aime beaucoup les illustrations contenues dans le livre. Je trouve qu&rsquo;elles apportent un r\u00e9el plus. Cela \u00e9voque la douceur du sucr\u00e9 (gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des couleurs tirant vers le pastel) mais aussi les \u00e9pices avec des dessins tr\u00e8s color\u00e9s. C&rsquo;est assez rare dans les livres de cuisine de trouver des illustrations comme cela. Un petit clin d\u2019\u0153il pour montrer l&rsquo;amour qu&rsquo;on porte aux \u00e9pices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LES MOINS:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Certaines \u00e9pices sont assez difficiles \u00e0 trouver. Je pense par exemple les graines d\u2019acacia moulues. Typiquement australien! Je ne les trouve m\u00eame pas sur le site de <a href=\"https:\/\/shira.fr\/\" title=\"\">Shira<\/a>, pourtant bien achaland\u00e9. Mais bon, en fouillant bien sur internet &#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J&rsquo;ai trouv\u00e9 un peu dommage que les recettes soient tr\u00e8s typ\u00e9es \u00ab\u00a0sud\u00a0\u00bb. Je m&rsquo;explique. On apprend que la cardamome \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s pris\u00e9e par les Vikings, mais on ne trouve aucune recette typiquement nordique avec cette \u00e9pice. Alors qu&rsquo;il y en a beaucoup encore aujourd\u2019hui. Il n&rsquo;y a qu&rsquo;\u00e0 feuilleter le livre \u00ab\u00a0Desserts hygge\u00a0\u00bb de Bront\u00eb Aurell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">En r\u00e9sum\u00e9:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Un livre tr\u00e8s sympa. Bon apr\u00e8s, j&rsquo;avoue \u00eatre bon public pour tout ce qui est sucr\u00e9, mais quand m\u00eame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si je le compare \u00e0 son autre livre \u00ab\u00a0The nutmeg trail\u00a0\u00bb, on retrouve les m\u00eames marqueurs: des roues de saveurs, ensuite une carte des \u00e9pices. Idem pour la frise chronologique. La diff\u00e9rence r\u00e9side dans le fait que son pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent livre concernait la route des \u00e9pices, et l\u00e0, on est plus au niveau mondial. \u00ab\u00a0The nutmeg trail\u00a0\u00bb propose \u00e9galement aussi bien des recettes sal\u00e9es que sucr\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je n&rsquo;ai pas le tout premier ouvrage de Eleanor Ford, mais j&rsquo;ai \u00e9galement \u00ab\u00a0Fire islands\u00a0\u00bb, sur la cuisine indon\u00e9sienne.
